Inclusive Classrooms

Level 2 Country: England England CPD MINUTES: 90

If you have large groups of learners requiring this training we encourage the use of online training.

Description & Learning objectives

It is essential to recognise that inclusion and inclusive practice are not purely about catering for the needs of learners who may be different or disadvantaged. The inclusive ethos is something that should include all learners, without exception, enabling each individual learner in a specific environment to reach their full potential through participation, in not only the curriculum, but also in any extracurricular activities.

This course will allow practitioners to explore inclusive practice and the importance of inclusivity in the setting, and understanding what makes for an inclusive setting. It will look at concepts underpinning accessibility and what makes an inclusive play space.

The learning outcomes for this course are as follows:

  • To understand what inclusive practice is in early years
  • To look at the importance of inclusive practice
  • To explore being a fully inclusive setting
  • To discuss the concepts that underpin accessibility in the setting
  • To consider what makes a positive inclusive play space

This course is CPD accredited and adheres to Ofsted regulations and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

If you have 5 or more learners requiring this training, you might like to consider our face-to-face option instead.

Because each of our courses is created by a specialist within this sector, they have the expertise to tailor any course to your specific needs. You can even arrange for your own documentation policies or procedures to be included.
